Homework
6Yes it’s true! There is homework in grade 3-4. As a parent of a 116 and 18 year old I know how busy life can get. That is why establishing time management skills and a positive, consistent homework routine right from the first day is beneficial for all.
WHAT"S FOR HOMEWORK?
We will be focusing heavily on responsibility and independence this year as your child continues to develop the necessary skills to be a successful life-long learner. Students will write their homework, reminders, pack up trip forms, notes, etc. in their agenda at the end of each school day for parents to check and sign on a nightly basis. Our EVERYDAY homework is reading.

READING: Students are expected to read every night for a minimum of 20 minutes. Students have login codes on the last page of their agenda for using RAZ kids online or Epic Reading. You can click here for tips on helping your child with reading.
DAILY MATH REVIEW: For extra practice, students have a yellow duotang for Daily Math Review. It consists of 5 questions per day that review all the different math strands. Students will receive their duotangs Monday and they have the week to complete the questions at school or at home ready to hand in on Friday.
